Previz

This year, I'm taking my first step into exhibiting at tradeshows with ScareLA in August.
I've been doing some rough design work for my booth.  See if you can guess what's what... (hint: there might be some surprises!)

  1. My guess is that the panels on the table at the rear are your projector tombstones, the cylinder on the table has to be Sybil the Clairvoyant. I'm not sure about the boxes on the left, they could be something new (look forward to finding out).

What I wanna know is, how are you going to rig up all those projectors, ha ha!

So what kind of 3D software are you using for this mockup. Blender?

    1. My lips are sealed! But if they weren't, I'd say you're darn close, and I need to up my mystery game.

This is in SketchUp-- decent, free program for quick 3D planning. I hear a lot of set designers for commercials like to use it. Personally, I think it's a little clunky for more precise work, but as far as laying out some basic shapes in scale, it's pretty good.
